Arrowhead Office Expansion
For those of you who frequently travel along the Atlanta Highway or Interstate 85 in Montgomery, you may have seen large steel beams being erected behind the fence at our Arrowhead office. This construction is part of a much needed addition that will provide warehouse space, covered truck bays, and an engineering wing.When we first moved into the Arrowhead office, we initially tried to maintain both the Arrowhead and Pike Road facility. However, with the size of our workforce, staffing two billing offices and splitting our construction forces between two offices in Montgomery was very inefficient. Over time, fewer and fewer member-owners were using our Pike Road office, so our board made the decision to close the Pike Road office, and offer the property up for sale.
Since our initial move into the Arrowhead office, we have found that this location offers easy access to serve our member-owners in Lee, Lowndes, Montgomery and Macon counties. It is also conveniently located to the facilities we operate on Maxwell/Gunter Air Force Base.
This current construction project has been in the planning stages for over five years. During the planning process, much thought was put into the best use of the available property, and the layout of the new addition. Our board, management, and employees have all provided input to help ensure this facility offers the resources we need to best serve our member-owners.
